Ocean Literacy Course - Starting 6th November 2024 (Online)

Ocean literacy is often defined as “an understanding of your influence on the ocean, and it's influence on you”.

​

This course includes 4 sessions and covers everything you need to know about the connection between humans and the ocean.

 

Sam will be teaching the course - a Chartered Scientist, Environmental Manager and Environmentalist with a passion for teaching.

 

Sam has over 5 years of professional experience reducing human impacts on the environment through assessment, monitoring and management.

 

Sessions will be one hour long and you can access them at your leisure once published.

 

You will also have access to an online learning group with me (Facebook) and the other students to learn at your own pace.

 

You can decide how much time you wish to spend on tasks (set at the end of each session) and individual research.

Session 3 - Food and the Sea - Wednesday 20th November

Session 4 - Marine Urbanisation -  Wednesday 27th November
